As part of the Latin America and Caribbean Weeks 2025 in Paris, Vivance Art—a platform dedicated to showcasing emerging artists from Colombia, Venezuela, and Mexico in Europe—presents Tuty Navarro as its central artist. Known as Synesthesia, Navarro is an acclaimed Colombian visual artist with over 11 years of international experience, blending audiovisual art, music, technology, and spirituality. She was recognized as Colombia’s Best National VJ in 2019.
At SALC2025, Tuty Navarro introduces "Ancestral Origins", an immersive audiovisual installation inspired by Yagé. This multisensory piece invites audiences on a journey through the roots, identity, and cosmovision of Indigenous peoples, using fractals, videomapping, and soundscapes. The work connects deeply with postcolonial and decolonial approaches in contemporary art.
Tuty Navarro's participation in SALC2025 serves as a powerful aesthetic and spiritual statement, bringing to Europe a transformative proposal that reimagines and revalues the ancestral cultures of Latin America.
